Little Known Parks: Navy Memorial Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

TyeDyeSkyCrew: This one was cut down in it's prime... Literally!

The city saw it necessary to remove this ancient tree and replace it with more garbage dumpsters.

Geocache Description:

This is cache number one of my latest series called "Little Known Parks".

This cache is located at Navy Memorial Park. If you are from the area and have ever been to our lakefront, you have driven by this park many times. This isn't much of a park, believe me. I can't believe they dedicated something like this as a memorial to the navy... you'll see. Regardless, the city calls this a park, so it is. The terain is a little steep if you come in from the top, but nice and level if you come in from below.
