Located just off the trail that leads to Telegraph Peak, in the
Angeles National Forest. The cache was placed while on a hike with
my son, and we thought that this would be a great place to bring
others, to enjoy the views. There are a few ways to get to the
cache location from the parking area of the Mt Baldy Ski Lifts. *
Take the Ski lift up the hill to the Notch, and start your hike
there. * Hike, or bike up Mt Baldy Rd to the Notch. From the Notch
it’s just a short walk to the intersection of Mt Baldy Rd, and the
Devils Backbone Rd. From the intersection take the trail that leads
to Telegraph Peak. This is a nice hike, and isn’t very difficult.
Along the trail you will come to an area to your left side with
some great views down the canyon. From here your on your own! Bring
lots of water, as there is none along the way, and it can get very
hot in these mountains. Have fun, and enjoy the views. Don't forget
to bring a pen, there's none in the cache.
