Easy parking at location or short easy walk from campground. A quick scramble up small hill.
Cache maintenance July 08 replaced container with ammo can, added a newborn TB, restocked with new items, and moved across road for better protection. Very short scramble up fairly steep hillside. (climb hillside from game trail just inside treeline from road) Enjoy a sit in the shade next to the cache, taking in the awesome view overlooking Bear Valley & Elk Creek. We've seen many deer and elk, one moose, rabbits, beautiful birds and other wildlife in this valley. A canoe ride on this gentle creek meandering through the valley is wonderful, peaceful and scenic.
