Autumn Geo Gathering in North Macomb County, Michigan!
Peepz would like to invite geocachers from Michigan, Ohio, Ontario and all around to join us for a mid-day meet and greet on Sunday, September 17th. We’ll be gathering at the coordinates (which happens to put you in our back yard) at 11 am, eating around noon, and then socializing for a couple hours.
We’ll provide hot dogs, hamburgers, buns, beer (for those of age only!), and iced tea. Please bring chairs & a dish to pass.
There will be rustic restroom facilities (men to the left, ladies to the right? no, a bit better than that) and fresh water. Our neighbors have offered up their volleyball court for anyone interested and our hot tub will be available if you bring a suit.
This is a rain or shine event – we’ve got a big barn if the weather gets us. And plenty of parking – just drive straight to the back of the property behind the barn.
Peepz has recovered their first lost cache from Wolcott Mills. Missed the Turn will be displayed for your viewing pleasure.
There will be new icons for those to discover!
There will be some new caches, including a new travel bug hotel, and a few special caches for this event only. There will be a 50-50 drawing to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The event will end at 4pm.
