Geocache Description:

On the edge of Somerset County - near the Middlesex County border - is a quaint little park with a playground, a baseball field, a basketball court and some Open Space territory. Welcome to Thomae Park! In order to locate the cache, you'll first need to solve a simple puzzle using info that can be gathered from within the playground.

Begin by locating two 10-character serial numbers that are imprinted on two objects within the grounds of the park. The objects are both manufactured by the same company - so they have very similar serial numbers. Next, within the serial numbers surrounded by letters are numeric digits - a string of four numerals, as well as a single numeral. Now, compare the four digits in the two serial numbers to determine the difference between those two strings of numbers - this will give you variable "X". Similarly, determine the difference between the single numerals to calculate variable "Y". Finally, take the "X" value and subtract it from the posted North coordinate & take the "Y" value and add it to the posted West coordinate.
