Feed the ducks at Orton Mere Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Lactodorum: Rather than keep this cache temporarily disabled (which should only be used for shortish periods) I'm archiving it. If/when the cache is ever replaced I'll consider unarchiving it assuming it still meets the guidelines.

Geocache Description:

Orton Mere is a small lake on the edge of Peterborough. Less well-known than its larger cousin, Ferry Meadows, the lake and its surrounding grounds are still a popular spot for a gentle walk and we love to feed the ducks here.

The co-ordinates above are not the co-ordinates of the main cache. Instead, they are a good spot nearby to park at, to feed the ducks.

To find the cache you need to go to:
N 52 33.575 W 0 16.900
where you will find a small black tin. Written inside are the co-ordinates of the main cache: a large 5l plastic box.

Watch out for cyclists and walkers while you search here !

Added Nov 2006: Due to the undergrowth dying back, I have tried to improve the cover for the main cache. It now has some additional large sticks etc and is covered with fallen leaves. PLEASE RE-COVER IT LIKE THIS, if you visit.
