Cascade Reviewer: As I haven't heard from the cache owner, I must regretfully archive this cache.

If you decide to work on this cache, or have any questions at all, please email me at cascadereviewer@gmail.com. If you are able to fix the issues and the cache still meets all of the guidelines, it's possible that I could unarchive it at that time.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

This should be a fairly obvious cache for most, if you actually read the desciption! The only trick will be finding the exact placement of the little container.

This cache has been placed in honor of my Grandpa. He was a commercial fruit grower for Diamond Fruit in the Hood River area of Oregon for more than eight decades. He farmed his land for 85 years before he saw his last harvest and passed away in the spring of 2007. He owned a vast orchard with a variety of pears, apples, cherries, peaches, plums, and strawberries. We set out to find a fruit tree to place this cache in. We found one in the most unlikely of places we could imagine and figured that makes for the perfect Geocache! You are looking for a pear tree with a small yellow container hanging amongst/in the branches. The container is yellow and has a small yellow Geocaching sticker on it. The container is removable from the hiding place, just give it a little tug. Please be sure to get the cap screwed back on good and reinserted to protect the log from water damage. This is a very high muggle area, you will have to be watching for them from almost every angle.

********PARKING********
Since so many people are logging a problem with parking I thought I'd add more than just the recommended coords. for the spot. The below described area is located along the side of the on-ramp to get onto Wheaton Way. Please use this area to pull off. PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON THE SIDE WALK OR IN THE ROAD. Parking is limited in this area. Parking is available at N47 35.159 W122 37.784. It is a large dirt and grass area across the street from the cache location that several cars can easily pull into. Good luck and Happy caching!
