Geocache Description:

On the R38 between Kaapmuiden and Barberton, take the Louisevale turnoff. Continue to the waypoint S 25° 41.364 and E 031°17.236. You can also look out for the signboard that says Ntokozweni Tuck Shop. Continue to the soccer field and turn right. At waypoint S 25° 41.026 and E 031° 17.236 turn left. You are now on the trail. if you are hiking then find a safe spot to park your car.

If you look directly across the road and the river you will see the nest of the Black Eagle (Witkruisarend) in the tree. If you are lucky and it is the right time of the year, you will see them feeding their chick. Only one chick will survive, and that is the first born. He or she will peck the other chicks to death as they are born. When they hunt they prey on tortoises, rats, mice lizards etc.
