INDIANA SCHOOLHOUSE
QUEST
These ISQ's will take you to historic
one-room schoolhouses in rural Indiana, among others. You can find
these old buildings on corner lots, abandoned and with barn doors
cut into them to store farm implements...Do not go up to the
buildings, all caches are located in the ROW.
This is yet another fine example of a
Schoolhouse that is no longer here. The cornerstone has been
preserved as well as some photos of the old school
buildings.
Hyuntington County's Clear Creek School
(1897 - 1966) sat on this site. Now you will find a fenced-in
playground, Basketball court, batting cage and lighted baseball
field, with bleachers and outbuildings. Please be stealthy at this
locatiuon, and if games are in progress, you probably won't be able
to retrieve the cache.
