Choose Your Own Adventure: The Case of the
Missing Caches

It has become a
local mystery and you have been chosen to help solve this case. As
legend has it, there were 2 caches that were placed in the area
that disappeared without a trace before they went active. The
owners were baffled, since they took such great pains to conceal
them, and keep them hidden from eyes that were not meant to see
such things.
One of the cache
containers was an Ammo box that was stocked full of precious loot
and some special tokens…Jeep Travel Bugs! They have never been
recovered nor logged since the day they went missing.
The second of the
lost caches was a large Lock ‘n’ Lock container, also filled with
lots of great items for trade and some special tokens as
well…Coins! It is no surprise that these have also not show up-not
even on the Black Market (aka E-Bay).
These 2 Geocaches
have been missing for years and the case had gone cold, but it has
recently been reopened. The only clues that you have to solving
this mystery are the coordinates listed on this page and the
following information that is about to be given.
Please pay close
attention so that you may be rewarded for your diligence and hard
work and the original owners can finally have some much needed
peace of mind.

Once you arrive at the location of the only lead you have in this
case, you will have to decide how you will plan your route. Once
there, you will continue the hunt by choosing one of multiple
leads. Each new clue will take you to a 35mm Film Canister (all
within the same park) which will be between 3ft and 5ft off the
ground and attached to a Natural object. No individual container
(clue) will be more than a 2 Star Rating for difficulty or
terrain.

As with any unsolved mystery, there will be Dead Ends and times
when you might have to back-track to stay hot on the trail.

All the clues should be located close to the main trail but the
location of the missing loot could be anywhere!

Since this adventure is yours alone, there is no telling how
quickly you might be able to crack the case. It could take you as
little as 4 stages or as many as you might imagine, although you’re
smart and should do well.

If for some reason, you are unable to find a clue, please e-mail us
the clue # that is missing. You can always back-track and choose
another option in order to continue the hunt.

Since there are 2 caches that are missing, your mission, should you
choose to accept it, is to find both of them. Each have their own
GC# (GCXBTB for Ending #1 and GCXBTC for Ending #2) and you will be able
to log each one as you find them.

This Adventure is meant to be Family Friendly and Fun! However, the
case will not reveal itself at night (PARK CLOSED AT NIGHT) and the
furry members of your family will have to stay home (NO PETS ALLOWED) in case you
need a phone-a-friend.
