Geocache Description:

Yes, I kinda, sorta, oughta (closely related to woulda, coulda, shoulda) quit chewing Altoids gum. It’s an addiction, almost as bad as those for chocolate and geocaching. As a way to recycle those little tins, I’ll bring you to some places I am addicted to visiting. So take a deep breath, relax, and plan on just strolling to find these caches and get notches on your geocaching belt for pleasant visits.

**   Special request for your cache log below   **

NOTE: THIS CACHE IS NOT IN OR NEAR ANY LANDSCAPING!

BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!

A more complete title for the cache would have been Addiction Cache #16: Friends and Family, Sharing and Caring.  It didn’t fit.

On July 6, 2006 my adventure was finding the cache CACHE CACHE by Tommy C (GCW1F1)  In his cache description he wrote, “For certain people with addictions, there is an empty Altoids tin that can be used as a cache.”  I think he meant me.

The Altoids tin was still there when I found the cache and it was already camouflaged!  On the way home I decided that I wanted to place it somewhere that would get people to think about all of the caring and sharing people and acts in their lives.

For a few weeks I hunted for a spot, and then I was told that the Douglas_Clan had archived their cache at this spot.  I have always enjoyed this sculpture, so decided that it was a perfect spot for a family and friends addiction cache.

I sat there and reflected on the many new friends I have as a result of caching.  I also thought of the many ways in which they have shown their care for me by sharing in so many ways.  Some have replaced entire caches for me.  Others have given me coins to share, travel bug tags, 2 way radios, a PDA, ammo cans, and even Little Yellow.

Yes, I am truly privileged to be part of the geocaching community here at home in Washington as well as just a tad in Michigan and New Jersey.

**  There are two benches near the sculpture.  Sit down.  Reflect on special friends and family.  Share a few thoughts in your cache log if you choose.
