Wyalkatchem (strange name, beut place) is 192 km east north east of Perth and tidy too, has won "Tidiest Town" 4 times since year 2000. Wyalkatchem is an Aboriginal name first recorded for a waterhole spelt Walkatching in the 1870's but the meaning is unknown.
Coordinates will find you at the tourist layby in town where you'll find a BBQ, gazebos, toilets and attractions such as the CBH museum (housed in a 1930's style wheatbin and Open Friday - Monday 10am to 3.30pm July until November) and an endangered species garden.
