You would think with a name starting with multi, this
would be a multi cache, but it is not. This cache has been
placed to honor those geocachers who just keep going and
going.
When
this cache was placed, only four Alabama had four multi-milleniel
cachers, that is a cacher with 2000 or more finds. This list
includes Keymaker, David, Last Chance, and Radnax. It appears that
three of these are about to break another milleniel milestone, so I
placed this cache in their honor.
Here's the deal - I am asking the
caching community to hold back and let one of the multi-milleniel
cachers claim the FTF prize. After that, feel free to jump right in
an enjoy this find.
So tell me about this cache - It's
a large ammo can - so big that I was tempted to list it as a large.
The cache is quite full of all kinds of typical and atypical cache
swag. It lies fairly close to a trail. I won't worry you with
details on how to get there... there are about three sensible ways
to approach the cache. Since this cache has been established for
those seasoned cachers out there, I bet you can figure out how to
get to the cache! The cache location was chosen to allow you to
come in a route you have not yet enjoyed or one that is familiar -
whichever you choose.
Enjoy the hike and the
hunt.

Cachers Fixing to Hit a
Multi-Milleniel Milestone
| Keymaker |

|
Some say Keymaker will do anything for a
find. Personally, I think Keymaker has a reasonable
amount of dignity and will draw a sensible line, but you judge for
yourself from this picture taken during his find of UPC Extreme
Makeover #2. As of this writing, Keymaker is chasing his
4000th find. If you listen to the kids whispering to their
parents at events, you might hear him referred to as famous or
legendary. |
| David |

|
According to local urban legend, this is just one
of two pictures of David smiling. That's probably because he
just worked quite hard for this find at Zap2It. As of this
writing, David is fixing to break the 3000 find milestone.
David has several well chosen hides and is always a main stay at
local events, where you may even here some of the kids refer to him
as legendary. |
| Last
Chance |

|
He calls himself LastChance, but if you look for
some of his caches those with clean mouthes might call him
NotAChance. LastChance thinks he is a big geocacher, but I'll
let you decide if that's the case. Here he is looking for
Jolly Green's Wristwatch. I think he may have been put in his
place... LastChance is closing in 3000
