Solve the Mystery to find the Cache!!

In the times of horrific pirate ventures, Cap'n Jack and his crew of The Black Opal made there way up the mighty Emigration in search of any other ships to plunder. In their travels up the windy beast of a river they found themselves lost. They departed their trusty vessel and made way on foot to see if they could determine their whereabouts. That was the last anyone saw of the crew of The Black Opal!

Legend has it that Cap'n Jack never left The Black Opal without his Treasure on his side! This treasure was never discovered. Recent accounts of a pirate historian, Helmet Von Shippner PhD., show that the treasure will be found in the location of the photgraph he left behind for you.
But remember that some things may be a decoy as pirates were scoundrels, ya know!
Now, it is up to you to find the treaure and claim it for yourself!

There are 3 prizes for the FTF, STF and TTF and they are a $100 bill, A GPS Battery Pack and a Bag of Gold.
First 3 to find, please only take one item and leave the others for the next pirate adventurer!
After the 3rd to find then there are just some small trade items.

A little jaunt is required but not too bad!
In the winter is should be accessible with a small trek on snowshoes or cross-country skis and that will be a terrain rating of 3.

Cache container is a camoed plastic salsa bottle!
Make sure you twist the lid tight (But not brute strength tight!) so no moisture gets in the cache!
