This cache is located in the Cross Lots in Essex. One of the many Essex Land Trust properties.
The Cross Lots, the Harriet Cheney Downing Preserve is a 16 acre open property in the center of Essex. Extends from park like settings at the top of the hill down through fields to a large dogwood grove fronting Route 154. Mowed trails are easily accessible.
The cache is a small tupperware type box loaded with back to school items.
Dogs are welcome on leash, trails are not stroller friendly. Parking is located at 41 21 192N 072 23.835W
This preserve is a little known gem in the center of Essex. We hope that you enjoy the walk – we do.
