Parking is available at the northwoods clubhouse. It is from there a 1/3 of a mile hike in on the Tahoe Donner Trail on loose dirt and gravel trail.
This trail makes a great mountain bike ride around Tahoe Donner. Take some time to look at the views in the meadow in Bennett Flat. The cache is in a Costco nut jar. Water and Bathrooms available at the Northwoods Clubhouse.
