Our son Mike's best friend Chad, lost his life
at this intersection in 2003.
He was on his way to see his girlfriend when a
speeding motorist
carelessly crossed over Metcalf into his lane
of traffic.
His passion was Nascar and Dale Earnhardt Jr
was his favorite driver.
We chose to honor him with a cache instead of
traditional flowers & cross.
Our hope is that this cache will remind others
to drive defensively.
