Geocache Description:

the cache is located two or three miles east of marysville along highway 20. you can drive right up to it, providing you can find the access point.

i was born in indian territory (later to become oklahoma) in 1879 to parents who each had cherokee heritage. i joked that "my ancestors didn't come over on the mayflower, but they met the boat." i traveled the world as a young man learning to be a cowboy. i worked in vaudeville with roping tricks, but my act turned increasingly to witty, social satire. i wrote a newspaper column; had a weekly radio program; and made numerous movies. i won the loving admiration of the american people for my folksy, down-home humor. one of my famous lines was "i never met a man i didn't like." in august of 1935 i was touring alaska with a fellow oklahoman, world-renowned aviator, wiley post. our plane crashed near point barrow, killing us both. who am i?
