V nasi serii BRNENSKE SOUTOKY zachovame smer proti proudu Svratky k pravobreznimu pritoku - Kohoutovickemu potoku.

Potok prameni na hranicich mesta Brna v zalesnenych svazich Kamenneho kopce a kohoutovicke Baby, v zapadni casti obytneho souboru Kohoutovice a castecne v zalesnenych svazich Libusina udoli, kde prameni potok, ktery je pritokem Kohoutovickeho potoka. Vlastni Kohoutovicky potok má delku cca 3 km. Pred soutokem se Svratkou proteka 138 m dlouhym tunelem pod krizovatkou Antonina Prochazky - Pisarecka a otevrenym korytem parkem u Anthroposu. O vyznamu potoka svedci i jeho zobrazeni na mape jiz z roku 1716.
