NoVAGO's Fall Gathering on 11am Sunday October 1st!

With the not summer days behind us and the cool days of the fall it is the perfect time for an event. Not as many bugs, cool breeze, changing colors of the leaves, far less spiderwebs with the declining insect population. With this We ask that you please join the crowd of local cachers for a Fun event at Algonkian Regional Park.

Main Event:
Enjoy the potluck lunch provided by various cachers in the area.
If you want to add contact TeamRJJO and they will post what everyone is bringing.
Nothing will get turned down! All food is welcome!
Virginia Geocoins will be on sale as well!!!!
Arrival/ sign in: Starting at 11am
*Location: Algonkian Regional Park, Site 1

The Poker Run

Rules:
1. Each participant needs to sign up during the lunch portion ofthe event.
2. The list of all caches will be handed out along with the 5 that have poker chips.
3. 1 chip per person from the 5 designated caches at the park.
4. Each chip will give you one card upon return to the Pavilion.
5. The 3 best hands wins.

Hydro Caches

1. flyingmoose and others will provide watercraft.
2. Life Vest and paddles for those craft will be available as well.
3. If you have a boat (canoe, kayak or outboard motor boat) feel free to bring it to make sure many cachers can go.
4. These caches are 5 star terrain rated and need to be taken seriously.
5. If you have never paddled before I am sure someone will be able to aid you or team up with you.
6. Towel and change of clothes. (you never know)
7. 2 Waterproof cameras will be provided as well.

There will be a computer available to load up cache coordinates to your GPS (GPSmap, Etrex and Magellin). If your gps is not on this list and it requires a different cable please bring it. Thanks!

The pavilion Portion of the event is Handicap accessible.

Lets make sure we leave the place cleaner than we got it!
