Fairly easy cache. Perhaps a nice grab when you need to visit the airport.
This establishment has been an East Birmingham landmark since 1975. The original stood about one mile east of the current location. The eatery was relocated when the airport expanded.
The original community was locally known as "Blowgourd". Blowgourd was composed almost entirely of Italian Immigrants, their families and their decendants. Blowgourd was almost self-sufficent. There was a grocery,a hardware store, and a Church (Saint John's). The name Blowgourd came to be because passerbys noticed a lot of residents liked to hang blowgourd birdhouses from trees and fences.
Birmingham has been greatly improved by Blowgourd residents who merged into the larger community. They brought with them Faith, family values, and outstanding work ethics that were learned in Blowgourd.
The Sazera family (owner/managers)have been helpful and supportive in placement of this cache. A wave to the back window would be appreciated. They will likely be watching.
Cache is an ammo box camoflaged and hidden behind restaurant. THERE IS NO NEED TO WALK OR DIG IN MISS CAROLINE'S GARDEN. There is a camera placed in the cache please leave a picture of yourself and any critters in tow (including children). The cache is dog friendly the restaurant is not. There will likely be much muggle activity so please be as stealthy as fun allows.
There are four stages to cache the first two should be enjoyed by children, but might irritate adults. Third and fourth are a little more difficult.(BUT they ai'nt no hill fer a stepper.)
If multi's are not your thing, or if you need a quick grab-n-go, final coords are listed in clue.
