Geocache Description:

I have had to replace this cache after it went missing (They took the train away)
This cache can be found near a Jurassic looking indrustrial machine.
The equipment here was the first one bulit in
Australia and was commissioned in 1950. It weighed 650t and could
excavate 1000 t of coal per hour. Over its life it chewed through
over 43 million tons of coal.
The machines that I operate in the nearby mine can dig at an average of 2000t per hour and are a bit bigger than this one but not as big as the ones at Loy Yang.
While I never operated this machine I was involved with maintaining the fire fighting equipment on it.
Today it needs lots of cach to maintain it and it was due to be removed until some Locals took up the cause and had it registered by the National Trust. They are seeking funding to have maintainance work done on it.
Hope you like this cache
