Geocache Description:

This event is located in Sumner, Illinois and is being hosted by King of Halloween, Wolf Pack 359, STP10 & knttrgrl, Mike Anderson 1492 & Whistlin in the dark.



We would like to welcome Geocachers from all over to the

Second Annual Cache Slash Fest Event.

We will have prizes, giveaways, and a geocaching contest with a grand prize. We have had several businesses dontate for prizes.

There will also be several permenant caches in the area.

We will also have a haunted hayride to a local cemetery were Ghost Hunter from Crawford County Illinois Ghost Hunters Society will be having a Paranormal Investigation demonstration were he will show and explain the equipment used for ghost hunting. So bring your flashlight.


We will have a bonfire for roasting hotdogs which will be provided. Ice tea & chips will also be provided. Bring a covered dish, drinks of your choice, and lawn chairs. Bring your kids too because we will have ours and there will be stuff for them to do. We will start the event at 1:00 pm on October 21st , 2006 and the poker run caches will be posted after the meet and greet. We plan to give out door prizes and eat around 4 to 7 pm. If you was at the first event you wont wonder why it takes so long to eat. Come and meet with fellow cachers and check out why the King is the King of Halloween.




The Cache Slash Fest Shirts will be available again with this years new graphics which will be posted soon. The graphics on the shirts will look like the Geocoin below. The pumpkin will be on the front and stone on the back.

Youth XS (2/4T), Sm (6/8), Med (10/12), Lrg (14/16), Xlrg (18/20) Adult Sm, Med, Lrg, XL

All above sizes Short Sleeve T's $10.00, Long Sleeve T's $14.00 & Crew Neck Sweat Shirt $20.00 Add $1.50 for 2X and $2.00 for 3X


Also this year STP10 designed a AWESOME looking Geocoin for the Cache Slash Fest 2006, pictured above. These Geocoins are trackable through geocaching.com and are only available to persons that attend the event. We are limiting the Geocoin purchases to one coin per group or logable account due to the limited number of coins. The coins are $12 a piece but if you purchase a shirt the coins will be $10. Due to the fact that the shirts have to be ordered we are requiring that all shirts & coins combo orders be ordered and paid for by October 7. WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO HONOR T-SHIRTS AFTER THIS DATE. Based on availability there maybe some coins for purchase at the event. Payment methods will be Money Orders, Cashiers Checks, & personal checks. More info to come. The King and I will have our yards decorated for the season and will be giving short tours and demonstrations of the props in the Inyart Insane Asylum and Wolf Creek Cemetery. We will also see some really neat props from Ravenwood Hollow. Bring a camera for some really good Kodak moments.
