Geocache Description:


This cache is the 4th one to be placed on the grounds of the Schoharie Crossing State Historic Site (NYSOPRHP permit #SX-05-06). Part one is an unconventional micro and part two is a 20 cal. ammo can. The final is filled with samples from the gift shop (free for the taking!)and other goodies.

The cache is out of doors but be sure to stop in at the Visitor Center. Schoharie Crossing is a very geocache friendly site. The staff may give you an extra hint (or maybe not). The Visitor Center has a large brochure rack with maps and other information, exhibits on the Erie Canal, a restroom and a gift shop.
