The castle has been built in the beggining of the year 1800, but unfortunately it hasn't been noticed when was it exactly. Here was born the latter governing of Hungary in 18.06.1868 (died: Estoril, Portugal 09.02.1957. The building has received its definite form in 1925, by the plans of Kalin Ferenc. We can discover the features of the neo-barokk on the castle. After tha World War II – like the other castles – they tried to destroy it. The most beautiful furnitures have been outwored and the remains have been fired in the middle of the garden. It has been used as a granary, moreover there was a time-period when horses have been carried in the magnificent hall. In 1950 it has been turned into teaching goals. Today it's working as a school and as a board-school. You can only visit it at teaching-time.
