This is one of several caches in Hudson Springs Park. Only vehicular entrance is off of Stow Road. Park only in the lot. During summer months stop at booth to say you are not fishing. Dogs on leash OK. Daylight hours only. Bug repellant is recommended.
This cache, previously titled, Hudson Spring Ring Cache, was originally placed by Boy Scout Troup 333 in 2003. Muddy Dawgs has taken over the site at their request in August 2006 and renamed the cache “Ring Ring – Can you hear me now?”
Many times while walking this trail, I’ve thought other hikers were perhaps talking to me or to themselves. However, most of the time it is someone on a cell-phone catching up on their exercise as well as some “important” business. We get out on the trails to get away from those distractions.
The cache is located on the lake side of a dirt path that is located between the main trail and the lake. It is a camoflauged rectangular Lock n Lock container. Watch out for muggles – although its new location (6/3/07) is further away from the main trail this park can be a busy place. Cache can be retrieved without "rearranging" major parts of its covering.
