Geocache Description:

A scenic spot on the shore of Lake Tamarack. Lake Tamarack was a Boy Scout camp that was purchased by the county several years ago. It is still strewn with debris left from the old camp, but the area is a gem in the rough. Bergen county plans on cleaning the debris over the next few years.

Best approach is from Skyline Drive via the white blazed Todd Trail. It is also a short walk from the Glen Grey area.

The name comes from saying that was on a sign that greeted visitors to the nearby town of Oakland in the 1920's and 1930's.
