Corp Of Discovery: Time to put this one to rest. It was so good seeing everyone- newer cachers, old timers, locals, people new to the area and even some long distance visitors! Sorry if I didn't get a chance to visit with everyone, hopefully I at least managed to stop and say hi. Thanks for coming and I hope everyone had as good a time as I did.

BTW: Steinie was the winner of GeoTag. I chose the last person who was 'it' to take their pick of one of 3 geocoins. The choices were Illinois, April 2006 GeoCoinClub (Spring Flowers/Stained Glass) or a Leo Zodiac. She picked the Leo coin as Panther in the Den is a Leo and his birthday was the next day (Happy Birthday PID!!). I hope everyone enjoyed playing.

Geocache Description:

Come one, come all- to the last (?) ice cream social of the year!

The Place: The Plush Horse.

The time: Monday, August 21st between 6:30 & 9pm.

The coords will lead you to our gathering spot, which is right across the street from the ice cream parlor. As with my previous event this will be a laid back affair. I will definitely have name tags this time! There may also be a game to play for those of you who wish to participate. Who knows? I may even have a trinket to give away to a lucky game participant...

Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending upon which way you want to look at things) there is no camping or camp fires allowed.

Additionally- there is no lake to swim in but you may still bring glow sticks if you wish to.
