Geocache Description:

the cache is located in eastern colusa county a few miles S of highway 20 along a very rural and overgrown farm road. you can drive within 10 feet of it.

in the summer of 1940 germany's luftwaffe greatly increased their bombing of england, trying to bring england to her knees and soften her up for a planned land invasion. but the british, in their hurricanes and spitfires, put up a stiff resistance. this was the third reich's first major defeat and perhaps was a turning point in the war. winston churchill felt it was britain's "finest hour." he stated "never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few." sadly, 498 of us were killed during this battle. who are we?
