Placed at 1959m high on Sneeuberg in the Cederberg.
This cache was placed by the youngest member of the Clan on the higest peak in the Cederberg range. The mountains are not for the faint hearted and should only be entred by well prepared hiking parties. This cache will take about 8 hours of hiking time. PLEASE do not under estimate the mountains or the weather as they can both be leathal. There are two different routes one can take to find the cache. Firstly from the Dwasriver side, park at the Observatory, walk up past the Maltese Cross (there is an other cache there) and onto S32 30.401 E019 09.874 or you can park at Eikerboom (Oak trees) and follow the jeep track up to Sneeuberg hut, passing the Leopard trap, and then onto the above co ords. From this point turn and head up to the saddle. When you are on top of the saddle turn right and follow the cairns towards the summit. The cache is not far from the summit. Enjoy the stunning view and on a clear day when at the trig beacon you even get to see Table Mountain.
There is only a read me note, log book and pencil in a small container with a grey lid.
