Find BrianSnats Ammo Can #8 Traditional Cache

OReviewer: From the Northern Region Office, New Jersey State Parks Department:

Over a year ago New Jersey enacted a policy that all geocachers must obtain a permit to have their cache on State Park property. We have informed all geocaching host that this is their responsibility and have given them ample time to go about getting their permits. At this time, over a year later, there are still several caches that haven’t complied.

We ask that as the land managers for the attached properties we would like to have these illegal caches removed.

Based on the list provided by the state, I am forced to archive this listing. If you have a permit, get a permit or don't believe your cache is on state park/forest land, please contact me via email. Make sure you include the GC code.

If you don't plan to get a permit, please remove your geocache so it doesn't become geo-trash.

Geocache Description:

Located in Wawayanda state park off the Applachain trail. The best parking access would be from Barrett Rd or Old Wawayanda Rd. (Iron Mountain Rd will get you closer but you'll need 4WD).

The owners of the caches in the series all felt it was closing in on the time to wrap this series up. Before people started puking at the sight of another find BrianSnat's cache in series. So We kind of settled on #12 as being the final placement. The first finder on #12 will get the honor of returning the can to BrianSnat, so he can either retire it or send it out on another cache, as he sees fit, with the thanks of NJ Geocachers for his fine hides. So hustle out to make the grab and get in on the series, while there is time left.

Instructions for the First to Find
The initial geocache is a BrianSnat's painted ammo can fully stocked. Go and actually pick up the ammo can. Drop a similar sized, stocked cache container in its place, swap out the log book. I will maintain the cache that you leave in its place. Then take the BrianSnat ammo can and place it somewhere else. Call the geocache listing "Find BrianSnat's Ammo Can #9" and add the same instructions. Congratulations - you are now a proud member of the Find BrianSnat's Ammo Can series of cache owners!
The objective of this series is to give people an opportunity for cache placement and to give a little nod to a great hider from Northern New Jersey.
