seastar255: confirmed gone. thanks to all that came to visit viera and hunt my cache. almost made it to 100 finds.
ironic thing. the area of the hide is all chewed up by bulldozers and heavy machines that cut wide paths and cleared out all but the biggest of trees but where you enter the woods is a brevard parks and recreation sign, announcing that this is an environmentally sensitive area and not to add or remove vegetation.

With the opening of Viera Regional Park (Master plan for this
117.62-acre site includes lighted Little League fields: 2 softball,
2 Major/Minor, 2 Senior; and 1 unlighted T-ball field with batting
cage, restroom/concession/meeting room; youth soccer/multiuse
fields (1 lighted regulation) with restroom/concession/meeting
room; an 18,000 sq. ft. community center/gymnasium, 2 outdoor
basketball courts, 2 playgrounds, benches, pavilions, 4 tennis
courts, and a maintenance facility.) The fast growing community of
Viera is officially on the map! Wanting to hide a regular size
cache in this basically treeless park, I decided to think ‘outside
the park’ for this one. Travel to the far northern reaches of this
sprawling complex. Park near a dirt road leading north thru the
woods (careful, there are 2, only 1 is right). Travel the road by
foot to the point where the woods on your right give way to a body
of water. There is a roughly blazed trail on your left, leading
right to the cache. And I do mean roughly blazed. Your task is to
find the opening. If you find the correct opening, use your trail
skills and observe the subtle clues marking the trail. Otherwise,
you are in for some bushwhacking. Target gift card for First To
Find. Basic dawn to dusk hours. Leave no hint of your presence
behind.
