Located near the home of the Dragons. Standing at this quaint
little spot in the foothills of the Beaver Creek knobs, watching
the mists rise from the nearby water, one can almost hear Merlin's
hypnotic 'Charm of Making', as he called forth the Dragon's Breath
in the film Excalibur:
"Anáil nathrach, ortha bháis is beatha, do chéal déanaimh"
(Modern Irish)
But be careful, for where one finds the Dragon's Breath, can the
Dragon be far behind? You must seek out his lair and claim your
prize before he returns, or dragon fodder you'll be. You are
seeking a .30 caliber ammo box in full camo regalia. Initially
stocked with many neat tradeables, including a couple of TBs, a
hilariously ugly Tiki, and a FTF button for the initial brave
knight. Parking may be found within 100 feet or so of the
trailhead. Muggles will abound many evenings May - July. If there
is a baseball game in the works, stealth could be a problem. Minor
bushwhacking is required, but no signs of geoivy or other
undesirables at time of placement. Please return the cache to its
hiding place as you found it, so others can share the
experience.
EDIT: As has been the case with many dragons of late, this one
fell prey to a side effect of urban sprawl...his sleeping cave
became the playground of those little loud biped things that are
crunchy and taste good with ketchup. So the dragon was forced to
move his lair some 80 ft deeper into the forest. But alas, this had
left him in a most foul mood. Whilst doubtful this new lair will be
overrun by mugglets, it may elicit curses that would singe a
knight's armor from those who meaningfully seek to disturb his
sleep. Coordinates and hint have been updated, and if any who've
already found this one want to tackle the new location, you are
more than welcome to log your heroic feat.
