INDIANA SPIRIT QUEST #510

FOUR BROTHERS

Welcome to Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown Township, Stueben County, Indiana.

The Mysterious Shadow has struck again! Hear what he has to say this time:

This is a large, active cemetery and well maintained. It features Graveled driving lanes throughout. Recent additions are at the north side. Chain link fence is at the roadway and wire surrounds the remaining areas. Larger trees give ample shade in the warmer months.

I've found older markers with dates back into the 1850's. There are some unique markers here. I found one about 5 feet high, an Angel carved from a solid piece of tree truck; A beautiful piece of work.

There are many veterans here, from the Civil War to the Persian Gulf. Some of the inscriptions for the veterans speak for themselves. –SHADOW

The Four Brothers.

(Inscriptions as read on large marker. Unable to make out the Michigan unit number for Gideon... No dates given for Henry. John, Gideon, & Henry are listed on the Civil War Memorial in Angola.)
