Outlet Mystery Multi Multi-Cache
Pond Bird: Final is not where we originally placed it back in 2006. Also, area has been pretty much dug out and when I got to the spot I even confirmed coords to make sure I was in the correct spot. Realized we haven't been here since 2017 and the park has had changes and perhaps the Outlet has flooded in more recent times, I even went to search for the nearby cache that was placed in 2015 for the first time because there was a lack of thorns in that side of the park (finally after all these years it is not thorn paradise). Due to these conditions of the park, the changes and the final MIA, I regret to archive the cache. IF anyone has searched for the final between 2017 and today and did not find it please feel free to log a find here anyways.
We appreciate those that went for this one but we've been so busy and doing other things and it's better to open up the area to a new cache.

The posted coordinates will lead you to an area of a former lumber mill.
The final cache is located in an Ontario County park. Many people from the area are unaware that this place exists. The land for the park was donated to the county and is an "all natural" park. As such, it is meant for bird watching, hiking, or fishing along the Canandaigua Outlet.
Follow the WP2 coords and notice the name of the County Park you are entering, you may've parked at that park's parking lot to get the coords from WP 1.
***Another mill is located around the corner at the intersection of County Road 25 and McBurney Road. The gypsum mill was once there. The historical marker in the area used to be part our multi, when it was by County Road 27, a bundle of yards away, but the historical marker has been broken a few times, and now moved, so we removed it from the multi.
The mystery of the third mill can be found in Phelps by the Main Street Bridge over Flint Creek. A geocache used to be along the guardrails there, and sadly it was archived because it was MIA. An old grist mill was nearby. You can still see the remains of the mill from that bridge location. There is a sign there, that we wanted for the first part, but we couldn't use it at the time because of the geocache guidelines. (As of 2015 a mystery cache's virtual stage is near the mill).
Hopefully, you have enjoyed some local history and you will take the opportunity to see the other mills.
Bug spray is a must in the summer, when searching for the final cache. Long sleeves and pants are recommended once the brush grows up in the spring.
Happy Hunting,
Pond Bird, and Mom Bird
