Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the Haswell to Hart cycleway in County Durham and affords plenty of scope for cycling, horses and walkers/runners/skiers/pogo-sticklers.

This cache has now been altered to reflect the high muggle activity in the previous location. Rather oddly, it's actually been visited and logged by muggles about 5 times and, while it seems to be just harmless kids who put flowers in, I think it needs moving. Anyone who's done it before will need to read the description. The long walk is now a must. :-) The main cache coordinates are obtained from this:

There is only one, non-vague solution, which you ought to verify by checking before you go.

The cache should be put back where you get it from, and nearer the back one (you'll see) and preferably without dropping it in the water, which is
a) shallow
b) wet
c) what I did when I set the cache.

To do this cache according to the sensible parking coordinates requires a 1.7 mile journey. It’s a nice walk. You could, I suppose, drive around and try to park nearer the cache but I only recommend the listed parking place because there’s no “proper” parking elsewhere and the terrain grade would go up a lot. Mind the blind hill if you elect for this sillier option.

This is a Tupperware box and is on the small side but IT’S NOT A MICRO! and contains swaps ‘n’ stuff.

I’ve made a decision not to set any more puzzle caches without putting the entire solution on the cache page in the hint. I’m not too keen on puzzles myself; you rely on the returning of emails for clues and quite often the solution is very obscure to all but the setter and they’re more irritating than anything else. Accordingly, the puzzle solution is below.
