Smrdan Grad was a medieval fortification build by the Turks in the beginning of 1400’s. to protect the harbour of Klek . The Croats (people from Neretva vally) stole the fortification from the Turks. When the Turks tried to take it back they lost most of their army. After the fight there were so many dead bodies that the town got its name (stinking city). According the legend only 57 Croats defended the fort from attack of 6000 Turks.
The cache is a box contains a key holder, coctail umbrella, tattoo sticker, a few coins, logbook and a pencil
