Geocache Description:

A novel little cache placed in Plymbridge woods.

Plymbridge woods is a National Trust woodland set on the outskirts of Plymouth.

There is a large free car park and a cycle track which makes for easy walking almost all the way to the cache. If you continue along the cycle track past the cache you will come to the viaduct over the river, where there is a viewing platform to view the nesting peregrine falcons.

For more info on the peregrine falcons see their web site at http://www.plym-peregrines.co.uk/

Now on to the cache.

We have given good directions as the GPS coverage here is very poor, but the box is fairly large so needed to be hidden off the beaten track.

Park in the car park and walk along the cycle track until you find the concrete base of one of the old railway buildings.

Turn right here off the cycle track and head up through the gate into the woods, following the mud track for 90 paces. At this point there is a cross roads. Take the narrow track to the right for 20 paces to a fallen tree.

The cache is up behind the roots of the fallen tree.

The cache is a 2.4 litre box so should be easy to spot.

Please leave cache site as you found it and cache well covered.

There is a special F.T.F badge for the first cacher to find this cache.

Good luck and happy caching
