This is in the Blue Heron WMA south of Gothenburg. Thought maybe this area could use still another one. Just follow the trail – leads you close to the water, but not in the water. You will see a good place to park that you might want to use, but you can drive further with the right vehicle, but then again walking may be easier. It is walking most of the way on a sandy trail used by pickups and 4-wheelers and leads back in among the willows, cottonwoods and Russian olive trees. Beware of the Russian olive trees as they have thorns! The cache shouldn’t be too hard to find. Keep everything in the ziploc bag as this may not be weatherproof. Thanks!
