A short circular walk on the edge of Dartmoor with some good views
of the moors. This is open access land and dogs are welcome but
please keep them on a lead if sheep and horses are grazing.
The coordinates above are for a parking spot within 1 mile of the
first stage, though not necessarily the closest.
1st Stage: N 50° 30.(1stR)TA W 004° 06.AH(2ndM)
To find the coordinates you will need to research the Dartmoor
Village of Buckland in the Moor. The answer will become obvious
when you find it.
Once at the coordinates you need to note the eight numbers as
ABCDEFGH and then use them to find the coordinates for:
2nd Stage: N50° 30.(A+E)(B-G)(H+A)' W 004°
06.(F-H)(F-G)B'.
Once here you are looking for a date. The date is ABCD and you use
these for:
Final: The final can be found at N50° 30 (B-C)(B-A)(C-A)
W004° 06.DA(B-D)' The cache is a 1 litre clip lock box which
contains the log book, pen and a selection of trade items.
Please hide the cache well before you leave.
