Come out and join your fellow cachers for fun and fellowship.
This month’s meeting takes us to the Cooper’s
Furnace Day Use Area in Bartow County from 12-4 PM, September
9th.
There will be a Cookout!
We will eat at 12 noon. There will also be some events and games
for everyone as well as a raffle for some cool door prizes. Just
log in if you plan to attend and let us know how many will be in
your party. Please bring a side dish or dessert, if you can.
We will talk about Travel Bug Dos and Don’ts. We will touch on
waymarking as
well, and while you are there you can log the Cooper's Furnace Waymark by Mertat! Geocaching
and Waymarking in one meeting!
The area holds a lot of Civil War era history and hiking trails
with great caches. And don’t forget all the great views of Lake
Allatoona!
