Kayak trip up Exeter River
This cache was placed during a Kayak cruise on the Exeter River. The parking and launch area is in Gilman Park just off Court St, Rt 108, at about 42 58.372, 070 56.571. Two other caches are hidden within Gilman Park.
The Exeter River is a pleasant Kayak trip, with several ways to negotiate through islands and shallows to get back to the main course. Although the straight line distance from the launch area to the cache is about .75 mile, the kayak course is closer to 1.5 miles.
The cache is hopefully placed high enough above the river to survive floods. So, you’ll have to go up the bank when you beach your kayaks.
