The Battle of Nevermore

This cache will bring you to one of the very few publicly owned beaches in the city of Federal Way. Unfortunately, access to the area here is not easy. One of your biggest challenges will be to find the best approach to this cache.

Please note that the listed coordinates will take you temptingly close to private property. There is no need to cross private property to access this cache. There is a legal place to park and enter the trails here. Please don't share those coordinates in your log. Finding the correct trailhead is all part of the fun.

As with many activities near the beach, timing is everything. Come at the wrong time of day or linger too long and you may find yourself wet or trapped by the quickly changing tides. Please be aware of the conditions around you.

Even though you may consider caches near the city to be easy terrain-wise. This cache will bring you to a little piece of local wilderness. Depending on the conditions when you come, this cache may be totally inaccessible or difficult to approach. Please be aware that you are assuming all risks for your own hunt and safety. Common sense should be your companion.
