Geocache Description:


This gray cat hitched a ride from Kachekat's Kitty Litter in Pennsylvania. While on the way she told me she was in Macbeth:

Macbeth, Act I, Scene I

A desert place.
Thunder and lightning. Enter three Witches
First Witch: When shall we three meet again
In thunder, lightning, or in rain?
Second Witch: When the hurlyburly's done,
When the battle's lost and won. 5
Third Witch: That will be ere the set of sun.
First Witch: Where the place?
Second Witch: Upon the heath.
Third Witch: There to meet with Macbeth.
First Witch: I come, Graymalkin! 10

When we got back to Ohio she jumped out and hid. Now that she is gone I can tell you the origin of her name. Malkin is a French word meaning "foul fiend". It is believed she is a witch and a companion of witches. This familiar is one to be searched for with care!

It is believed she is hidden in a way that cats like to hide. She may have changed her colour from gray to something else to hide better.
