Geocache Description:


We named this cache Meteor Showers because we came up here to view the Perseid Meteor Showers the night we placed the cache.

June 23, 2007 update: It seemed that every time I checked on this cache, the little trail accumulated more broken bottles and shotgun shells. What a shame that people will trash such a beautiful area. When I checked on it after jshults' dnf log and found it missing, I debated archiving the cache, but the view really is magnificent and this spot is just as safe as the rest of the caches along North and South Main Divide Road, so I moved to the cache to a cleaner spot on the opposite side of the road where there is no trail and shouldn't be any muggle traffic. Finding the cache should now be a much more pleasant experience. Light bushwacking required. It is no longer an ammo can, now a jar that will hold small trade items.

Note to the first person to find the new cache - I originally thought this would need to be a new cache, but reviewer confirmed that distance is okay to just change the coordinates. Don't get too excited when you see that I've written a space for the FTF to sign the log, it will now just be FTF the replacement cache.
