Geocache Description:

Cache ia a 35 mm film cannister near a gravel roadway. Sign log only. BYOP

My best friend is an FBI agent who used to be based out of Sacramento. He called me one day several years ago and asked if I wanted to bum along with him for the day. He was looking for a fugitive from justice and had gotten a tip that this man was in our area. Apparently this fellow had broken out of jail in Montana and had later been shot in the butt in a confrontation with the sheriff (who had a shotgun). Convicting evidence would be multiple scars on the man's derrier.

We stopped at several locations and interviewed a number of witnesses. We learned that he had been a heavy drinker before getting clean and sober. We also discovered that he had found religion and had lived for a time with a local minister. We finally caught up with the suspect at this exact location...case closed.

After insuring the suspect's incarceration we found a beautiful king snake just yards from here.

There is a very impressive monument just 85 feet southwest of the cache. It is a tribute to a 43-year-old lover. What do you think of it?
