Geocache Description:

UFO SPOTTED OVER CAP-PELE.

Cap-pele, NB...near a beach, on the groomed trail near Aboiteau beach close to sandy beach.

Do not park on the road as there are no parking signs. Please enter at Aboiteau Beach entrance. There is a small parking lot here.

This is a small night time cache. Follow trail from parking lot to the posted coordinates. Look for a tree with 4 trunks. This is your starting point. Follow your orange reflecting lights into the woods until you come to a tree with two orange lights. When you reach the tree with two lights look for the final.

The following is what a witness stated about the area. I tried to find the exact location of the encounter and this is the best I could do with the information provided.

Cache is a medium sized container with traders, logbook, pencil and sharpener.

One night, a young girl finished work and was driving home to Cap-pele when she notice an orange coloured fire ball moving around in the sky. Local Air force and air traffic controllers said that there was no activity in the area...

Was this a UFO?

Maritime U.F.Os: The Canadian Maritimes has become a hotbed of paranormal activity with its many reported UFO sightings and abductions. One specific case relates to a pregnant woman who has reportedly missed strange gaps in time. She later recalled that as a small child she had similar dreams and experiences. She believes it could perhaps be that alien creatures were specifically interested in her and her unborn child. Another case concerns a man who had been away from his Maritime home for many years. Upon his return, while staying at a local motel, he sighted a strange disc hovering over the hotel. Later that evening he noticed a very strange light in the sky outside of his room. The next morning he woke up beside his wife wearing different clothing. He has been racked with strange nightmares since his youth dreams of alien creatures, abductions and even experiments. No one is sure just what to think but there is definitely something bizarre out there. Halifax local, Don Ledger has conducted a great deal of research on the subject.
