TFcachers: Had a chance to make the bushwhack to this hide today. I believe it is time to archive this one, almost made it to it's 10th birthday, but it has become obvious that someone is purposely destroying caches placed in this area. Since it's placement here, this cache has been stolen at least twice and we assume washed away by a flood once. On it's last rebirth we placed it in an over-sized ammo can covered in camo duct tape and literally chained it to a tree with a black reinforced coated aircraft cable and camo lock. We secured the cable through the double welded jeep clip on the back and the handle of the ammo can. Not only did someone strew the contents of the ammo can everywhere, but they ripped the lid off of the ammo can and somehow managed to bust the double welds off of the jeep clip and steal the bottom of the ammo can without damaging the cable or the lock. Anybody who has messed with an ammo can knows what a feat this must have been, no way it was done with a stick. Anyway, we cleaned up what we could find and will go back next weekend to remove the lock. I will post some pictures of the cache location and the lock for those who logged a DNF, if you found the lock, it should count. It was definitely not washed away as you can see from the pics, the wood base it was sitting on and the driftwood we were using for camo are all still there.
