Bakers Gully is a pleasant walking, wildlife, and picnic area on the southern outskirts of Bright.
Parts of the area are clearly a little degraded, but it is equally obvious that the locals have done a lot of work to improve this. The results are a generally very pleasant area surrounding two small dams with plenty of wildlife. There are two loops to the walking track – upper and lower, and it is recommended that you do both. It is also within a reasonable walk of Bright town centre.
I have included a waypoint which is a good carpark, and at which is an information sign. According to the sign there is a resident platypus here, which should come as no surprise, although you will have to be here at the right times to catch a glimpse.
While here you may want to also want to go to a not too far away lookout, but please note that a map might be very useful.
The cache is a 3 litre clip top container painted to suit its surroundings,
