A short hike from the 5 mile picnic area…
Park at the gate to the 5 mile picnic area. At the back of the old campground there is a trailhead sign for "Noah's Ark". Head up the trail... The cache is an ammo can not far up the trail, if you choose to do the hike, it is actually 1.3 miles to the top. The Mrs. did the hike with a puppy and a 10 year old golden, it took and hour and 10 minutes up (with breaks) and 45 minutes down. The trail zig-zags and is a little steep up higher but the view is so worth it! Make sure to snag our other cache across the road while you are here. Have fun!
